I started this one with a sketch while I was pretty bored. It was actually supposed to have a torso and arms but then I decided to just do the head attached to a wall between lots of others. The expression is meant to show the feeling waking up and realizing that there is more than just what we see (blind persons know that).
Modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D R9.5. Post work in Photoshop CS2.
Render time: 2h19min
This is amazing. I love the concept and how eerie it looks. This looks so professional. Great work on this. <3

Flash that buttery gold, jittery zeitgeist. Wither by the watering hole, border patrol. Like wait, let it snake up outta the centerfold. Let it break the walls of Jericho. Ready? Go!
I love it. When I look at it, I see how even though mankind can experience an overabundance of emotions, in a way, it's still automated by chemical processes, which is the mechanical background to life.
This is nice in a number of ways,
I very much like the design of the heads, the eyes etc.
The wall could have more too it, but that is a tiny thing
Overall a nice concept that is well executed.
That right there? That rocks. You did an amazing job with it, looks like it could be a sculpture you made, not CGI at all. Very realistic looking, and the concept is spiffy on very many levels.
This is pretty amazing work. I really love how you used selective focus, and the modeling of the eye assembly (like a car's) is awesome! Could you do a tutorial for this? I know if I switch to C4D I know who I'm going to first. How long have you been doing 3D anyway?
